The series seeks to stimulate public debate on the most important ethical issues confronting media and journalism today. Access to the series is free because we aim to disseminate knowledge on media ethics as widely as possible. Publications in the series will be drawn largely, but not exclusively, from discussions and lectures sponsored by the Center for Journalism Ethics. The publications will feature prominent journalists, scholars and citizens concerned about the state – and fate – of their democratic media. The series is resource for students, scholars and the public.
The first edition is an insightful analysis of reporting Iraq by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Anthony Shadid, an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin and its School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Other publication will follow. Return to this web site for new editions.
