Please join the Center for Journalism Ethics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, as well as leading journalists and news organizations, in honoring the winners of the 2024 Anthony Shadid Award for Journalism Ethics.

The Shadid Award is presented in memory of Anthony Shadid ’90, a University of Wisconsin–Madison journalism alum and former board member of the Center for Journalism Ethics. A two-time recipient of the Pulitzer Prize, Shadid reported on the Middle East for the Washington Post and New York Times and remains one of the most admired international correspondents of our time.

This event will feature a keynote conversation on journalism ethics with CNN’s Manu Raju conducted by Katie Harbath, chief global affairs officer at Duco Experts.
